Dr. Shadow Asagari

Dr. Shadow Asgari is a proud native of Missouri City, Texas. After graduating Dulles High School she attended the University of Houston where she majored in Biology and then went on to the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree plus an additional residency program to specialize in Orthodontics. She left her hometown in 2002 for Arizona where she has practiced for 21 years. After 2 decades of being away from her family and her hometown, she is excited to be back, providing orthodontic treatment to her beloved community.

While studying at the Texas Medical Center, Dr. Shadow had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best scientific minds on groundbreaking research. She contributed to the field of Orthodontics with several published research projects. The daughter of a scientist, Dr. Shadow spent quite a bit of time in her father’s laboratory as a child learning the scientific method. She still uses the scientific method when it comes to the diagnosis and treatment planning of orthodontic cases.

Dr. Shadow loves her career, transforming smiles and being a part of her patients’ lives for a time. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, especially all of her nieces and nephews, and her old friends from back home (Go Mo City!). The loves of her life are her daughter, who will be a senior soon, and her son, who will be a sophomore. Besides the loving humans in her life, Dr. Shadow loves her animals and enjoys gardening. When there is time, she enjoys traveling and learning new cultures and languages.
