Contributing to our community has always been important to us at The Beach House Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. Our latest local involvement? Raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research at Houston’s annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
On October 7th, 2023, 12 of The Beach House staff, including our founding pediatric dentist, Dr. Kristi Parker, participated in the 5-kilometer race — a first for the team. In total, the 2023 Houston Race for the Cure raised $680,177.94 towards breast cancer research, education, patient support, and policy action.
Why did we participate? Dr. Parker explained, “I am a strong believer in being involved in our community and raising awareness for important causes.” She continued, “Susan G. Komen and the Race for the Cure is an excellent organization and has done substantial work in the fight against breast cancer. We were grateful to be able to be a part of the cause this year!”
